Daya Zakat Fund
The Daya Zakat fund supports direct client services for all survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault who are financially needy without regard to religion, age, gender, race/ethnicity, disability, socioeconomic or educational status.
Direct services at Daya are defined as necessary costs for goods and services that directly impact the client and their family's safety and independence.
Zakat donations to Daya provide critical support for survivors, covering essential needs such as rental assistance, emergency shelter, transportation, clothing, groceries, and household goods. Additionally, funds help empower survivors through education and economic stability by providing laptops, job certifications, and other career-building tools.
